New Twitter Board Member Elon Musk Suggested Adding Dogecoin Payment
Shortly after joining the twitter board, Elon Musk proposed many changes, including Dogecoin.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, bought a 9.2% stake in twitter, which became well known recently and was soon appointed to the board of directors. Now, the billionaire has made several suggestions for the social media giant’s paid subscription plan, one of which is to implement Dogecoin payment.
Musk’s filing with the securities and Exchange Commission showed that he had purchased more than 70 million twitter shares, making him one of the two largest shareholders of TWTR.
A few days later, it was reported that the billionaire became a member of the board of directors and suggested “major improvements” to the platform. Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal welcomed the move, saying musk would bring “great value” to the board.
Before long, musk put forward several suggestions. In a series of tweets, he suggested that the subscription price should be reduced from $3 to $2 a month, but under certain conditions, it should be paid 12 months in advance.
He also wants pricing “commensurate with affordability and denominated in local currency” and the elimination of all advertising by users. Finally, musk proposed adding Dogecoin as a payment method. He is arguably the most influential supporter of the first US Mexican currency in history and has emphasized his belief in the asset for many years.
In addition to being an investor in Doge, musk also took every opportunity to praise cryptocurrency, and even Tesla, one of his companies, accepted Dogecoin payment. But so far, twitter officials have not responded.
