Qtopia. The French company crypto blockchain industries (CBI) announced that they are bringing the first metaverse focusing on LGBTQ into reality. It will be called Qtopia and will reside in a larger meta space called Alphaverse.

Qtopia will be fully launched in 2023. It is hoped that Qtopia will become a safe space for LGBTQ groups. Alphaverse was founded by Frédéric Chesnais, who was the chairman, CEO and major shareholder of Atari, the flagship game company. Alphaverse’s goal is to become a centralized center of the metaverse universe. People in these virtual communities can buy virtual accessories as NFT.As for Qtopia metauniverse, it will be an online gathering and meeting place. Any member or ally of the LGBTQ community can interact.

Land and Tokens

Before the launch of metaverse, fans can buy virtual real estate. This includes houses, apartments and other types of real estate in the virtual world. Members can also purchase a local cryptocurrency called uniqoin. This kind of token can be used to buy items of enterprises within the vitality circle and offline.

A portion of the proceeds from real estate and uniqoin currency will be donated to LGBTQ charities.

Rachel Kimelman and Jordan Weiss, former co founders of the qutie LGBTQ social application, are now working on Qtopia. Weiss said, “we are very excited and proud to announce the first metaverse focusing on LGBTQ and launch it in cooperation with Alphaverseto.”

Kimelman added: “Qtopia will support this community, not only providing them with a space to virtually come together from all over the world, but also economically, part of our sales will be donated to charities, and our currency will focus on helping LGBTQ friendly enterprises.”
