Alkemya Metacore raises $50 million through tokenized equity financing, led by Gumi Cryptos Capital
Alkemya Metacore announced the completion of a $50 million pre-IPO financing and plans to further raise funds by issuing tokenized equity ALKN. This round of financing was led by Gumi Cryptos Capital, with participation from institutions such as Maven 11, Metalayer, Joint Effects, and Tribe Capital.Alkemya Metacore possesses approximately 7 million meters of ultra-pure nickel wire with a purity of 99.99%, with a diameter of only 0.025 millimeters, independently verified to be valued at around $1.64 billion, and the assets are currently custodied by an institution in Lugano, Switzerland. The company plans to use the financing to process the nickel wire into engineered mesh products for applications in electromagnetic shielding, aerospace and defense, marine and seawater desalination, power and industry, semiconductors, green hydrogen, and precious metal recovery.The ALKN token will be issued by Luxembourg's Alkemya Metacore SCSp and is planned to be traded on regulated platforms such as Bitfinex Securities. The new round of ALKN is priced at $1 per token, aimed at institutional and professional investors, with a subscription deadline of October 15. According to the revenue distribution mechanism, investor capital will be prioritized for full return and will receive a preferred return calculated at an annual compound interest rate of 6%, while business profits will be shared between token holders and partners at an 80:20 ratio. The company stated that tokenized securities will help it reach global investors and provide an around-the-clock on-chain trading channel for traditional physical assets.
