Nvidia in Talks to Acquire Hugging Face for Up to $14 Billion, Deal Could Close This Week
OdailyOdaily News: According to sources familiar with the matter cited by foreign media, Nvidia is in advanced negotiations with AI startup Hugging Face to acquire it for up to approximately $14 billion.
One of the sources said Nvidia could complete the acquisition as soon as this week for $12.9 billion, and the deal may also include an employee retention plan of about $1 billion. Currently, the two parties have not reached a final agreement, and the timing and specific terms of the deal could still change.
