Crypto Market Sees Broad Pullback, Meme Sector Drops Over 3%, Only RWA Sector Relatively Resilient
Odaily News: On Sept. 2, according to SoSoValue data, affected by the escalation of the US-Iran conflict and rising US Treasury yields, the crypto market saw a broad pullback, with the Meme sector performing weakly, down 3.18% in 24 hours. Within the sector, Pump.fun (PUMP) fell 8.41%, OFFICIAL TRUMP (TRUMP) fell 6.42%, but Robinhood Chain's popular ecosystem tokens Pons (PONS) and Cash Cat (CASHCAT) rose 0.96% and 2.83%, respectively.
Additionally, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 2.15%, dropping below $77,000; Ethereum (ETH) fell 2.99%, dropping below $2,400.
In other sectors, the DeFi sector fell 0.82%, with Uniswap (UNI) bucking the trend and rising 11.16%; the CeFi sector fell 1.62%, with Cronos (CRO) down 3.98%; the Layer1 sector fell 2.82%, with Canton Network (CC) down 7.63%; the Layer2 sector fell 2.92%, with Arbitrum (ARB) down 1.34%; the PayFi sector fell 3.18%, with Zcash (ZEC) down 2.93%.
The crypto sector index reflecting historical sector performance shows that the ssiRWA and ssiDePIN indices rose 1.40% and 0.21%, respectively, while the ssiSocialFi index fell 6.70%.
