Are dodo birds 100% extinct?

Are dodo birds really gone forever? Is there no chance at all that any might still be alive somewhere? I've heard some rumors about possible surviving populations, but is there any credible evidence to support these claims? I'm genuinely curious and would love to know if there's any hope left for the dodo bird's existence.
