What level should I be to fight Shido?

I'm currently working my way through the game and I've heard that Shido is a formidable opponent. I'm wondering, what level should I be at before I take him on? I want to make sure I'm well-prepared and don't get overwhelmed. Do you have any specific recommendations or strategies that I should keep in mind? I'm really looking forward to the challenge, but I also want to make sure I have a good chance of success.
