1. Why do I need to complete identity verification?

Identity verification is part of the globally recognized KYC compliance standard. It is designed to help prevent risks such as money laundering, financial fraud, and identity theft, while protecting the security of your account and assets.

 

Users who have not completed identity verification will be unable to use the important Fiat Deposit feature, and their daily withdrawal limit will also be restricted.

 

After completing identity verification, you will be able to:

• Unlock full fund-related features
• Enhance your account security level
• Become eligible to participate in various platform campaigns

 

2. Preparation Before Verification

1. What documents do I need to prepare?

You may use a valid identity document such as an ID card, driver’s license, passport, or residence permit for verification. As document formats vary by country or region, the supported document types are subject to what is displayed on the verification page. Please make sure the document is valid and has not expired when uploading it.

 

2. What restrictions apply to identity verification?

• Each user may complete personal identity verification for only one BTCC account
• Once verification is completed, the identity information cannot be transferred to another account
• Users under the age of 18 are not eligible to complete personal identity verification

 

3. Verification Review

1. How long does the review take?

Under normal circumstances, identity verification will be reviewed within 5 minutes after submission. The result will be sent to you via an in-app notification. If the review is not completed after more than 5 minutes, you may contact online customer support for assistance.

 

4. Solutions for Failed Verification

1. What should I do if I see a “Duplicate Registration / Duplicate Verification” message?

This message indicates that your identity information has already been verified on this platform. If you have forgotten your original account, you may contact online customer support. Our support team will help verify your identity and assist you in recovering the original account.

 

2. What should I do if my verification application is rejected?

Please first check the rejection reason in the in-app notification, resolve the corresponding issue, and then resubmit your application. For example, you may need to upload a clearer image of your identity document or provide additional valid documents.

 

5. Common Actions After Verification

1. Can I change my name after completing verification?

Yes. You may go to the Identity Verification section on your personal user page, click the edit icon next to your name, enter the correct name, and submit the change.

Important: Each user may edit their name only once. Please proceed carefully.

 

6. Special Operation: Identity Verification Reset

1. How long does it take to reset identity verification?

The reset process usually takes 1 business day. The exact processing time may vary depending on the verification queue.

 

2. Will my account be restricted after the reset?

Yes. After the reset, your account will temporarily return to an unverified status. You will be unable to make deposits or trade until the new identity verification is completed.
