What to Do If Your Crypto Deposit Has Not Arrived?

If you have transferred crypto assets to your BTCC account from another platform or wallet and the deposit has not been credited, it is usually due to one of the following reasons:

 

Blockchain Confirmation Delay

If your deposit information is correct but the funds have not arrived, it may be due to a delay in blockchain confirmations. You may already see the transaction on the blockchain, but the deposit will only be credited once the required number of confirmations is completed and the BTCC wallet syncs successfully.

 

In this case, please wait patiently for the blockchain confirmations to complete. The delay may last from a few minutes to several hours. If the deposit still does not arrive after a long time, please contact our 「Live Chat 」for assistance.

 

Deposited a Different Token

Before making a deposit, please ensure that the token you are sending matches the one supported by the platform. A mismatch in token name or contract address may result in the deposit not being credited.

Incorrect Address or Network

Please always double-check both the deposit address and blockchain network before making a deposit. For example, do not send ETH to a BTC address, or send assets via the Ethereum network to a non-compatible chain. Such actions may lead to the loss of assets or unsuccessful deposit.

Missing or Incorrect Tag

Some cryptocurrencies (such as XLM, XRP, etc.) require a Memo/Tag/Comment when making a deposit. Before sending your funds, please make sure you enter the correct Destination Tag as shown on the BTCC deposit page, usually consisting of 7 to 8 digits (refer to the value shown on the screen). Failure to enter the correct tag or leaving it blank may cause your deposit to fail.

Deposit Sent to a Contract Address

Each token has its own designated deposit address. Please always use the deposit address generated by the BTCC platform. Do not send funds to the “contract address” displayed on blockchain explorers, as it will result in the deposit not being credited.

 

Note: A contract address is like a unique identifier for digital assets on the blockchain. It is used to identify the smart contract of a token and should not be used as a recipient address.

 

Deposit Amount Below Minimum Limit

BTCC sets a minimum deposit amount for each supported token. Please refer to the VIP Fee Structure page on the official website for details. If the amount you send is below the minimum deposit limit, it will not be credited and cannot be returned.
