I. What is the New Futures Trading Fund?
To further enhance the user experience, BTCC has upgraded its Futures Trading Fund.
The new Futures Trading Fund is issued as a Futures Trading Fund Voucher. Within the voucher’s validity period, users can redeem it for an equivalent amount of Futures Trading Fund to use in BTCC futures trading.
The Futures Trading Fund can be used as a trading margin and can also be applied to offset realized losses, opening and closing trading fees, and funding fees in eligible scenarios. BTCC will periodically launch promotional campaigns related to the Futures Trading Fund.
Kind reminder: After the upgrade, any existing trading fund can continue to be used under the original rules. However, if such trading funds remain unused for more than 180 days, BTCC reserves the right to handle these funds at its discretion.
II. Usage Rules for the New Futures Trading Fund
1. The Futures Trading Fund is only applicable to BTCC futures trading. It can be used as a trading margin and may be applied to offset opening and closing trading fees, realized losses on closing positions, and funding fees in eligible scenarios.
2. When offsetting the corresponding fees, the Futures Trading Fund can be used to cover funding fees and trading losses up to the deduction ratio specified on the voucher:
• When the balance of the Futures Trading Fund is insufficient, it will first be fully deducted in line with the applicable deduction ratio, and any remaining amount will then be deducted from real funds.
• If real funds are also insufficient, the system will deduct from real funds and the Futures Trading Fund proportionally, and continue doing so until the required deductible amount is fully covered.
3. The Futures Trading Fund itself cannot be withdrawn, but any trading profits generated by using the Futures Trading Fund may be withdrawn, subject to applicable product and platform rules.
4. You can only use the trading fund to open positions when your available Futures margin (excluding the trading fund) covers the position-opening fee.
5. Only one Futures Trading Fund Voucher can be used at a time. When redeeming a new Futures Trading Fund Voucher, if there is an existing Futures Trading Fund currently in use, the system will first reclaim the active Futures Trading Fund before completing the new redemption.
6. If the Futures Trading Fund is not used within its specified validity period, or if a balance transfer occurs in the futures account, the remaining Futures Trading Fund will be reset to zero.
7. The validity period, eligible usage scenarios and deduction ratios of the Futures Trading Fund are subject to the information displayed on the respective product page.
Example:
A user has 100 USDT in real funds in their futures account and holds one 30 USDT Futures Trading Fund Voucher (assume it can be used for opening trading fees, funding fees and trading losses) with a 50% deduction ratio.
The user executes a futures opening trade with the following cost structure:
• Opening trading fee: -10 USDT
• Funding fee: -2 USDT
• Trading loss: -40 USDT
The deductions are applied as follows:
(1) Opening trading fee: -10 USDT
At a 50% deduction ratio, -5 USDT of the fee is covered by the Futures Trading Fund, and the remaining -5 USDT is deducted from real funds.
Futures Trading Fund balance: 30 - 5 = 25 USDT
Real funds balance: 100 - 5 = 95 USDT
(2) Funding fee: -2 USDT
At a 50% deduction ratio, -1 USDT of the funding fee is covered by the Futures Trading Fund, and the remaining -1 USDT is deducted from real funds.
Futures Trading Fund balance: 25 - 1 = 24 USDT
Real funds balance: 95 - 1 = 94 USDT
(3) Trading loss: -40 USDT
At a 50% deduction ratio, -20 USDT of the trading loss is covered by the Futures Trading Fund, and the remaining -20 USDT is deducted from real funds.
Futures Trading Fund balance: 24 - 20 = 4 USDT
Real funds balance: 94 - 20 = 74 USDT
III. Futures Trading Fund Reclaim and Reset Mechanism
1. Expiry reclaim: Once the redemption or usage validity period expires, any redeemed but unused Futures Trading Fund will be automatically reclaimed and reset to zero.
2. Account transfer reclaim: When funds are transferred out of (or moved from) the futures account, any redeemed but unused Futures Trading Fund will be fully reclaimed and reset to zero.
3. Multiple voucher usage: Only one Futures Trading Fund Voucher can be used at a time. If a second voucher is redeemed, any remaining unused portion of the first voucher’s Futures Trading Fund will be reclaimed and reset to zero by the system.
4. Risk-control reclaim: In cases of malicious or abnormal use detected by risk control (e.g., abnormal accounts), the platform may manually reclaim and reset the Futures Trading Fund in order to recover losses.
IV. How to Redeem and Use the Futures Trading Fund
Redemption entry:
App:
1.After updating to the latest version of the BTCC App, access “My Vouchers” via the homepage Banner, or tap the “Newcomer Zone” icon in the top right corner.
2. In the list of Futures Trading Fund Vouchers pending redemption, review the validity period and eligible deduction scenarios, then tap the [Obtained via redemption] button.
Web:
1.Log in to your BTCC account, then click “Assets – My Vouchers – Futures” in the upper-right section to open the list of Futures Trading Fund Vouchers.
2. Locate the Futures Trading Fund Voucher you wish to redeem, confirm the usage conditions, and click the [Obtained via redemption] button.
3. If there is already an active Futures Trading Fund in use, redeeming a new voucher will invalidate and reclaim the current fund. In this case, you will be required to confirm whether to proceed with the redemption.
4. After redemption, go to the futures trading page. Your current Futures Trading Fund balance can be viewed in the assets panel at the bottom right.
Disclaimer
If a user is found to be engaging in malicious behavior such as abusing the Futures Trading Fund through abnormal trading patterns, BTCC reserves the right to take appropriate action against the relevant account(s) in order to recover losses.
