BTCC Support2 days ago
Applicability: All digital assets listed on the BTCC platform and their respective project teams.
To enhance the overall quality of assets on the platform and better protect users’ interests, BTCC conducts continuous monitoring and periodic reviews of all listed tokens. BTCC reserves the right to restrict trading or delist any token that no longer meets these standards.
In the interest of transparency, BTCC hereby discloses the primary factors considered in delisting decisions, including but not limited to the following:
I. Project Team and Operational Status
1. The project team has dissolved, ceased operations, or undergone significant personnel changes without public disclosure within five (5) business days.
2. Members of the project team or its beneficial owners have been reported to be involved in fraud, illegal activities, market manipulation, placed on international sanction lists or are subject to criminal indictments in key jurisdictions, or other events that may have a material adverse impact on the project.
3. The project has been publicly named, investigated, or is subject to significant regulatory or compliance risks.
4. The project fails to provide legal opinions regarding the regulatory status of the token upon BTCC's reasonable request.
II. Technical and Security Factors
1. The mainnet or smart contracts suffer from major vulnerabilities, security breaches, attacks, network outages, or other serious security risks.
2. No significant code commits or technical updates for over three (3) consecutive months, or severe deviation from the published roadmap.
3. Major technical changes such as chain migration or upgrades are not publicly disclosed or are not implemented in accordance with required procedures.
4. Failure to cooperate with BTCC during critical network upgrades, hard forks, or contract migrations.
III. Token Supply and Information Disclosure
1. Failure to conduct token unlocking, burning, issuance, or other tokenomics adjustments in accordance with publicly disclosed commitments or established rules.
2. Abnormal large-scale fund movements without reasonable explanation.
3. Lack of transparency in project disclosures, or the presence of misleading or false promotional information.
IV. Market Performance and Other Factors
1. Prolonged low trading volume and insufficient market liquidity, making it difficult to meet the platform’s basic requirements for maintaining orderly and stable trading.
2. Evidence of wash trading, spoofing, or coordinated price manipulation by the project team or its affiliates.
3. Other circumstances where BTCC determines that action is necessary based on overall risk management considerations.
If a token is determined to pose significant risks or no longer meets BTCC’s platform standards, BTCC will initiate the delisting process as below:
Delisting Procedures and User Protection
1. Observation Notice (ST Tag): For tokens with potential risks, BTCC may first apply a "ST" (Special Treatment) tag. An observation period of 7–14 days will usually be granted for the project to remediate the issues.
2. Official Announcement: Once a delisting decision is finalized, BTCC will publish an announcement via official channels specifying the exact time for the suspension of deposits and trading.
Disclaimer
BTCC reserves the right to independently determine, based on its risk assessment, whether to delist, hide, or impose other restrictive measures on any token. In the event of major technical risks, compliance risks, or other emergency situations that may affect the safety of users’ assets, the platform may implement relevant actions immediately without prior notice.
Digital assets and their associated projects involve a high degree of uncertainty and risk, including but not limited to poor project management, suspension or termination of operations, dissolution, technical failure, or other project-level risks. Such risks and any resulting consequences shall be borne solely by the project parties and users and are not the responsibility of BTCC. BTCC does not provide investment advice nor does it endorse any listed token or project in any form.
This standard may be adjusted in accordance with market conditions, regulatory requirements, and business development needs, and will be continuously optimized and updated as the industry evolves.
Risk warning: Digital asset trading is an emerging industry with bright prospects, but it also comes with huge risks as it is a new market. The risk is especially high in leveraged trading since leverage magnifies profits and amplifies risks at the same time. Please make sure you have a thorough understanding of the industry, the leveraged trading models, and the rules of trading before opening a position. Additionally, we strongly recommend that you identify your risk tolerance and only accept the risks you are willing to take. All trading involves risks, so you must be cautious when entering the market.
